This National Adoption Week 2025 (20–26 October), You Can Adopt will launch its latest campaign — A Welcome Home. The campaign celebrates 'perfectly imperfect' family homes built through adoption, and aims to inspire more people to consider adoption by showing that children don't need perfection -- what matters most is a warm, welcoming place to call home.
To launch the campaign, an immersive pop-up kitchen installation – A Welcome Home – will be unveiled, co-created by adoptive families bringing to life what 'home' really means for an adopted child. These families and many others from across the country will feature in a social media campaign to show that, like all parenting, adoption can be messy and difficult, but joyful and rewarding beyond measure.
