Birth Families Support Map updated with latest support services

Family Rights Group has launched an updated version of the Birth Families Support Map to help ensure families and practitioners across England can access the most up-to-date information on support available to birth parents and relatives affected by adoption.

Hosted on the Family Rights Group website and funded by Adoption England, the interactive map allows users to search for adoption support services in their area using their postcode or local authority. It includes details of services offering advice, counselling, contact support, support groups and other forms of help.

The updated map now includes even more services across England and makes it easier for practitioners to signpost families to the right support quickly and confidently.

As an important resource for families affected by adoption, we encourage colleagues and partners to continue sharing the map widely within their networks. A communications pack is also available to support promotion of the resource.

If you have any questions or would like your service to be added to the map, please get in touch.
