Adoption England launches national Family Finding Practice Hub
Adoption England has launched the Family Finding Practice Hub (FFPH), a new national community of practice designed to bring together professionals involved in adoption and permanence planning across England. Open to family finders, adoption and children’s social workers, and other practitioners, the hub creates a dedicated space for collaboration, shared learning and professional connection. The aim is to strengthen practice and support those working towards finding the right family for every child.
Through regular interactive sessions and ongoing peer support, the FFPH offers a safe and supportive environment for practitioners to reflect on their work, share best practice and tackle common challenges together. It encourages collaboration across agencies and regions, helping to build stronger professional relationships while contributing to wider national conversations on adoption. By joining the hub, practitioners can gain fresh perspectives, develop their skills and play a meaningful role in improving outcomes for children and families, making this a significant step forward for adoption practice nationwide. The FFPH complements the Matching Practice Development Group, primarily attended by Family Finding Managers, by focusing on daily practices and shaping national strategies.
A series of interactive sessions are available to sign up for via our website, giving practitioners the opportunity to get involved, learn from others and play a meaningful role in improving outcomes for children and families.
